Oil generally enters the combustion chamber through the clearance between piston ring and ring groove, and the clearance between valve and guide tube. The direct cause of its channeling is that a piston ring throws the lubricating oil attached to it into the combustion chamber due to the sharp drop of its speed near TDC. Therefore, the fit clearance between piston ring and piston, the oil scraping amount and capacity of piston ring, the pressure and oil viscosity in combustion chamber are all closely related to the oil consumption. If you find that the fuel consumption is high, you should carry out the following inspections to find out the problem and solve it quickly.

1. Check whether the sealing gaskets at the connections between the diesel engine body and the gear chamber cover, the large plate at the side of the traveling wheel, the rear cover and the cover are intact, and whether the screws at the connections are loose. If there is oil leakage at the frame position, the oil casing shall be checked, mainly to check the front end of the oil casing on the same side as the traveling wheel. Generally, the loose base screws cause the traveling wheel to rub with the frame angle iron protecting the oil casing for a long time under the pull of the triangular belt, which leads to oil leakage.

2. The wear of the diesel engine valve guide leads to the additional loss of engine oil.

The engine wear causes the cylinder liner of the diesel engine to form a longitudinal stretch mark, and the cylinder diameter and piston side clearance exceed the specified value, which leads to the corresponding reduction of the supporting force of the piston ring and dirty oil scraping. Or because the twisted spring of the inner support in the oil ring is disconnected, the dirty oil scraper will participate in the combustion, making it difficult for the diesel engine to start, the exhaust pipe will emit blue smoke, and the respirator will inject oil seriously, resulting in additional oil consumption.
