TO COMMENMORATE MR GANGOS

DMtech Just got an order of ME parts reconditioning from Zhoushan Shipyard. The order make us to recall a gentleman. As the vessel name is ‘Flag Gangos’. It must be in memory of Mr. Gangos, who had been a senior superintendent of Golden Union Shipping.
I knew Mr. Gangos since 2005, that time I just entered the shipping marine industry. I visited every new coming ship for repair to promote our business everyday. Gangos as the site superintendent was always working in Cosco Nantong for ship repair that time.
The site representative seems not so high, maybe as he was fat. He is very easy to remember because of his distinguish white handlebar mustache. So the first impression of Mr. Gangos is a Santa Claus.
Actually he was so easy to go with and tended to be a friend. His voice was always very high and full of happiness, which influenced every body around him. He was not here yet, but you had already heard his speaking.
When next time I met the good friend about one or two years later, It was in a small shuttle ferry which running between Xiushan island and Zhoushan island. I called Gangos loudly, it was an unexpected but very happy meeting. We stood near a window and talked about ten minutes, then the ferry boat arrived. We said good bye and see you soon.
Sometime the good bye means never to see again.
Years later, when I visited Golden Union in Piraeus, I was told that Mr. Gangos already gone because of the heart trouble. It was on an air flying to Hong Kong. I was astonished by the news. The Santa Claus is so really a gentleman, I even may heard his laughing when somebody called his name.
That’s why Golden Union named a vessel as Gangos. Everybody who had been touched with Mr. Gangos will feel he was a very genuine and fresh existence.
Everything in the world has a soul belongs. Mr. Gangos is still living in the world, but by the way of a giant vessel 'Flag Gangos'.
